Sufism

IMPL is currently undertaking the critical editing and publication of key texts in theoretical Sufism. This includes Saʿīd al-Dīn al-Farghānī’s (d. 699/1300) Mashāriq al-Darārī and Muntaha al Madarik, as well as a number of hitherto unpublished manuscripts by Ṣadr al-Dīn al-Qūnawī (d. 673/1273–1274). The introduction will be written by Dr. William C. Chittick.
